Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have worked together on a 2022 film Double XL. There has been a buzz about their relationship since then.
Though the two have not commented about their relationship their Instagram feed has many photos of each other. They are also spotted many times attending events and gatherings together.
According to a report, the actress is expected to marry her longtime boyfriend on June 23, followed by an intimate wedding party at South Mumbai eatery.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have yet not reacted to their wedding news, and there is no confirmation from their families, but sources say that the ‘wedding rumors are all true’. And more interesting details about their wedding are surfacing.
One of Sonakshi’s close friends said in an interview “I received the wedding invite to celebrate with the couple on the evening of June 23, 2024. But there is not going to be any grand wedding as such, just a simple party”.
Sonakshi’s father, actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha, has stated in an interview that he is unaware of their wedding plans and that if the rumors are real, he will bless the pair once he is informed.
He also added, “Main bhi utna hi jaanta ho jitna media pe maine padha hai” (I know only what I have read on social media). On asked why is he not aware of his daughter’s plans, He said “ aaj kal ke bacche consent nahin lete maa-baap se, sirf inform karte hain” (nowadays kids don’t ask for anything, they decide and inform their parents). The actor concluded by saying “We are waiting to be informed”.

The wedding list is not disclosed, but the party is expected to include some of Bollywood’s biggest names in attendance. The ceremony may also have some of the best buddies of Sonakshi and Zaheer. Celebrities like Huma Qureshi, Aayush Sharma, and Varun Sharma will join the party.
Heeramandi co-stars, Taha Shah, Fardeen Khan, Sharmin Segal, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and others have also been sent the invitation.
A source said, “Before the wedding party there will also be a family function on June 22 at their home in Juhu”
The soon-to-be bride and groom are spotted together very often. While the actress has not kept her relationship hidden from the cameras, she plans to have an intimate wedding.
Sonakshi doesn’t want to give any details of her soon-to-be wedding before it happens.
