He recently stated in an interview that the show will return in 2025 with more humor and openness.
Last year saw the debut of the eighth season of the chat show, which featured actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as its first guests.
What did Karan Said on Return for the next season?
When Karan was asked about his plans to return for the upcoming season of the show in an interview.
Karan stated that they intended to take a year off and return in 2025.
He continued by saying that he intended to return with a revised syntax in light of the criticism he received the previous year, which described the event as having the most “boring rapid fire.”
“I was like, ‘why am I even doing this?’ You’re not giving me questions. Should we just drop the rapid fire, and I will take the hamper because no one really deserves to win it. Now, I am like let’s change the world of Koffee with Karan with the ninth season. And it will be back with all the fun and the chattiness,” he shared.
Karan also said in the interview that there are occasions when famous people are afraid to talk about themselves and don’t express as much as they used to. He presents a new example of the transparency that former show participants like Mahesh Bhatt used to exhibit.
“With the way Bhatt sahab is, he will still give me such answers. But I think I would get into trouble. Like, you called him, and you got these answers. Why didn’t you edit?” Karan jokes.

Last year, Koffee With Karan season 8 began with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as the first guests on the couch.
Some of the other guests were Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore, Bobby Deol and Bobby Deol, Rani Mukerji and Kajol, Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Kushi Kapoor.
