The first Stree came out in 2018 and was one of the year’s biggest hits. Amar Kaushik directed the picture, which was later made the star of Maddock Films’ horror-comedy world.
So far, the directors have cast Roohi, Bhediya, and Munjya in the cinematic universe, with Munjya still performing well in theaters.
Stree 2: All about the movie
Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik, who also directed the original movie. He has also directed the films Bala (starring Ayushmann Khurrana) and Bhediya (starring Varun Dhawan).
Stree debuted in 2018 and amazed everyone with its horror-comedy approach, which became an established tradition in Hindi film thereafter.
At the time, the movie grossed Rs 130 crore domestically, making it Rao’s biggest hit. Even six years later, this remains his biggest hit.
Stree 2: Teaser
The Stree 2 teaser was finally revealed on June 25 Tuesday after a lot of waiting. The movie’s title “stree,” tormented the village of Chanderi, greets viewers as the teaser opens.
Additionally, the ghost of “Stree,” hinted at the conclusion of the first movie, is returning to haunt the community.
As if waiting for Stree’s return wasn’t enough, fans have also caught glimpses of Tamannaah Bhatia in the trailer.
The actress is first seen dancing in the video before reappearing with a shocked expression on her brow for a blink-and-miss moment.
Stree 2: Starcast
Along with Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee have returned. The trailer also features Tamannaah Bhatia.
Fans are overjoyed to see their favourite characters back in action, and they can’t wait to meet Stree again!
Stree 2: Storyline
The intriguing storyline, which stars talented actor Rajkummar Rao and the attractive Shraddha Kapoor, revolves on a strange entity that kidnaps men at night and only leaves their clothes behind. A clumsy tailor named Vicky teams up with his pals to solve the mystery around Stree.
The teaser of Stree 2 suggests that in order to battle the mysteries spirit of “stree,” Chanderi would need to reunite.
Although the film’s plot isn’t disclosed here, it seems like Stree 2 will provide more of the same.
Stree 2: Release Date
Stree 2 is planned to arrive in theaters on August 15. It will compete at the box office against John Abraham, Sharvari, as well as Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu’s Khel Khel Mein, and Tamannaah’s Vedaa.
