What does the K-drama Hierarchy about?
Hierarchy, a new teen mystery K drama, premiered on Netflix recently. The drama captivated audiences with its sensational premise set in a high school where a scholarship student sought vengeance and was serious about exposing dark truths.
The characters in the show engage in love triangles, while others deal with bullying. The high-voltage drama and gripping plotline drew viewers from all over the world to the Korean drama, propelling Hierarchy to second place globally just few days after its release.
Netflix’s Hierarchy Popularity
Based on Netflix’s Top 10 on June 12, the drama received 3.5 million views between June 7-9, ranking second in the non-English TV category.
The show has grown in popularity, ranking #1 in nations including Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. The show has ranked in the top ten in 51 countries, including Korea, India, Hong Kong, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, France, Mexico, Nigeria, and Taiwan.
Hierarchy Season 2
Hierarchy is believed to be a limited series on Netflix. However, with such widespread popularity and viewership, fans of the show can’t help but fantasize about season 2 of the Korean drama.
The show concluded satisfactorily as the protagonists fulfilled the full circle of their learning and rejoined to the institution with a new viewpoint.
However, the post-credit scene suggests a second season, as it depicts Hae-ra entering a classroom to discover a lifeless body of a kid bathed in blood. Later, Ri-an got a frightening message, and all of the pupils were notified of the recent death, which occurred on the premises.
With a murderer on the loose and a mystery surrounding the murder, a second season does not seem out of the question.
